Job Role & Responsibilities
- As a part of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing defect fixes in our customer-facing applications.
- The role also involves actively monitoring application performance and ensuring the smooth functioning of critical systems.
- Candidates must be willing to work in shifts to support our global customer base.
- Defect Identification and Resolution:
- Analyze and troubleshoot software defects reported by customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the resolution of identified issues.
- Application Monitoring:
- Proactively monitor the performance and availability of customer applications.
- Respond to alerts promptly and take necessary actions to minimize downtime.
- Implement improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
- Shift Work:
- Willingness to work in shifts to provide round-the-clock support to customers.
- Programming:
- Utilize programming skills in [mention relevant programming languages, e.g., Java, Python, C++] to develop and implement defect fixes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of efficient and scalable solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with team members and other departments to understand and address customer issues.
- Clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Documentation:
- Document code changes, issue resolutions, and operational procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all actions taken during issue resolution.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Actively participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.Tech or B.Sc).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent programming skills in at least one language (mention specific languages).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Previous internship or project experience in software development.
