Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards using industry-standard tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to present data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, cleanse, validate, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract meaningful information from datasets.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations, charts, and graphs to effectively communicate complex data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure visualizations are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Report Generation: Generate regular reports and ad-hoc analyses for key stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and areas of improvement. Automate reporting processes wherever possible to enhance efficiency.
  • Data Governance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency across dashboards and analytics projects. Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures.
  • Requirement Gathering: Engage with business users and stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate requirements into dashboard specifications. Continuously evaluate and refine dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on accessing and interpreting dashboards and reports. Proactively address user inquiries and troubleshoot any technical issues related to data visualization tools.
  • Stay Updated: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in data visualization, dashboard development, and analytics techniques. Recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and tools.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced  degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets and present them in a concise and actionable manner.
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques, statistical modeling, and data visualization best practices.
  • Solid understanding of databases, data structures, and SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Prior experience in data governance and data security is advantageous
