Job Role & Responsibilities
- This role is for a Graduate engineer Trainee for the Emerging Technologies (ART-ET) team.
- This role requires the individual to contribute to Applied Research and Technology projects in the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
- The role would involve working with some of emerging and disruptive technologies such as AI/ML, AR/VR, Cloud & Edge technologies and applying them to the new products and services.
- Support projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying tool stacks, development of prototypes and technology demonstrators.
- To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Identify Technology and Industry disruptions on the horizon.
Eligibility Criteria
- Required bachelor’s degree (Engineering/ Science)
- Good understanding of Autonomous operations, AI/ML, AR/VR, Data Analytics applications
- Experience with product development is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Good programming skills in at least one of the languages – Python, C/C++, C# or Java
- Knowledge about Avionics products and autonomous operations
- Experience working on Matlab / ROS environment for simulation
- Good skills in prototyping AI/ML, AR/VR and automation solutions
- Good skills in requirements writing & decomposition
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Good attention to detail
