Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions for inbound questions, tracking and driving requests to a timely closure
  • Serve as first point of contact for employee and manager inquiries
  • Individually answering and responding to a high percentage of standard inquiries across all areas of HR with limited escalations such as system navigation, transaction status, policy, program, and process questions
  • Support payroll, compensation, benefit, learning, talent acquisition, talent management, absence, and Time entry queries
  • Workday training and communication
  • Drive completion of high volume, recurring tasks
  • Communicate operational outages
  • Escalate unresolved HR customer inquiries to other fulfiller groups or HRIS Tier 2 as needed
  • Run audit reports to ensure data integrity and adherence to policies
  • Ensure cases/issues are closed timely and to end-user satisfaction
  • Support end-users with completing transactions in Workday and other HR systems
  • Develop step-by-step user guides with accompanying screenshots
  • Enhance, mature, and maintain procedural documents, building on existing core operational process guides
  • Manage ServiceNow ticketing system in accordance with quality procedure and SLA expectations
  • Support broader HRIS team objectives in delivery of tasks, projects, and enhancements

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, degrees in Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience required
  • Experience in Workday or any other HR ERP preferred
  • Experience in ServiceNow or other ticketing system preferred
  • Strong service orientation with a high sense of ownership and accountability
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, taking direction from multiple team members
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, a ‘systems’ thinker with a process orientation and outstanding attention to detail
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic and motivated to achieve goals and exceed expectations
  • Exceptional time management skills and an ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Strong ability to work successfully with a globally distributed team
