Job Role & Responsibilities
- We help clients address issues and risks in accounting advisory services, financial reporting requirements, internal audit risk management, assurance needs, and internal controls services.
- We provide assistance on compliance, advise on critical business issues, and not only anticipate but navigate through each risk and opportunity with the client.
- Deloitte is looking for a software Quality Control Engineers to join our product development team for our SecureRelease Software-as-a-Service platform that enables US Government agencies to collect and respond to records request from the public as mandated by privacy laws such as the Freedom of Information Act, and the Privacy Act.
- The QA team is responsible for testing initiatives including creating test plans, manual and automated software testing, creating test data, and defect management as part of an Agile Scrum workflow.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Sc/ MBA
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a software QA role
- Experience with both manual and automated software testing
- Ability to write SQL to create and analyze test data in relational databases
- Experience writing and executing test plans for software projects
- Experience working on a team using Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of the testing life cycle from functional requirements to test design and execution
- Proficiency for speaking and writing about complex technical topics in English.
- Experience writing software defect reports
- Experience with one or more of the following tools/Technologies
- Microsoft Test Manager
- Selenium (or other test automation tool)
- JMeter (or other performance testing tool)
- Quick Test Professional
- Azure DevOps (or other requirements management tool)
- GIT (or other Source Control tool)
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience in at least a few of the following testing approaches
- Functional testing (“Happy Path”)
- Manual Exploratory Testing
- Integration Testing
- API Testing
- UI/UX Testing
- Testing on various devices, browsers, etc.
- Regression testing
- Accessibility Testing
Preferred Skills
- Experience scripting in C# or Java using Selenium WebDriver
- Experience managing testing environments for web applications
- Basic knowledge performance/load testing tools such as JMeter
- Experience testing websites on mobile devices
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Understanding on CI/CD builds and release pipeline across frameworks
