Job Role & Responsibilities
- Role Model, lead and champion strategic practice development across the enterprise.
- Utilise expertise in core business and technical strategies across platforms to deliver best business outcomes
- Design and implement simple solutions to complex problems, including retiring and removing obsolete systems and code.
- Lead strategic programs of work
- Identify, gain support for, and ensure execution of strategic direction
- Take ownership of key assets and platforms, setting their roadmaps and technical direction
- Provide expert consultancy across the enterprise
- Provide strategic and technical ownership of a product or realm
- Drive business unit critical initiatives and owns technical solution end to end
- Develop and implement domain specific technology roadmap
- Provide SME expertise in internal online discussions around software engineering, delivery and technology (for example blog posts and knowledge base articles)
- Lead and direct multiple teams on complex troubleshooting activity
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager/scrum master that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Group policies and external regulatory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree are Eligible.
- Proficiency with Android and iOS app development using Swift, Objective C, Java or Kotlin
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Typescript and CSS
- Ability to create rich UI and UX
- Deploying to App Store and google Play (We’d love to see your work on the stores)
- Ability to work within a DevOps model (Delivery & Operations within the same team)
Preferred Skills
- React Native apps for iOS and Android
- Experience working with Micro Services architecture in a large organisation
